Any recommendations for a watchmaker based in the USA (preferably West Coast) who can fix a crown on a DOXA Sub 300T Aqualung? It is the original crown that no longer screws in. Preference is to fix crown as opposed to replacement, unless a vintage crown is available.

*This watch was found on the ocean bed by a diver. The crown worked then. Took a licking but kept on ticking.

Thanks.

Repairing the crown is going to be a tall order. Vintage crowns aren't exactly plentiful either...

Good luck with the repair...you should probably replace the case tube while you are at it, if you can find the parts.

Jack at IWW in North Carolina specializes in this sort of work. We have had good experiences with his outfit.
