looks like a well done repaint job to me. I like that model anyway; if the price is right, I`d buy it . kind regards. achim

The "E" looks big to me but if it's US Army, nothing would surprise me.
I agree with Achim, great model!

Engraved caseback? That alone would have a cool factor for me.

Well, I grabbed it. It appears to have been serviced earlier this year as it had a watchmakers receipt. I'll know a lot more when I get it.

Deduct the cost if I had to service it and I think I got it for a fair price.

Dial is an old redial. Missing the widely spaced "Swiss Made" between 5 and 7. This is even mentioned in the Omega Archive:

Crowns for these turn up every so often. They should not be signed.
