I'm a noob with poor restraint, but even I know that a urgent sale with zero information and a crappy picture is just asking for trouble.

I have a 30T2 sc pc from 1944, I paid $550 Canadian for it (about 390 euro), very properly serviced from an antique watch and clock dealer/restorer.

So 500 Euro each? I don't think so. Maybe 500 for the pair.....

Here it is getting along with my Waltham......

I'm slightly confused here. Did you not say in a previous thread that you were a vintage Omega dealer?

Apologies if I'm confusing you with somebody else.

The price asked doesn't rhyme with the poor information provided. I cannot see an opportunity here, especially not for a dealer

Ah, so you want our FREE expert advice to profit on?

Yeah, um...... how about we let the others vote after I give my opinion:

....unless, of course, you decide to cut us in for a percentage of your profits.

Yea, that's just about one of the most disappointing posts I've ever read.

It is, isn't it? Every financial advisor charges for their advice, so why should we give ours for nothing? Especially since he might end up fleecing one of our future n00bs.

I appreciate everyone's got to start somewhere, but if you're asking so many questions, perhaps your not ready to be a dealer.
How can you know the nuances of what your selling to be sure you not passing on a dog? When people pay dealer prices, they expect that's a watch has been vetted to a certain degree.

If he turned around 200 Omegas last year I don't think he's starting out. Something is a bit odd here.

It gets even more odd when you read some of his past posts, some of which are actually quite concerning.

I sure am being hard on him.

    1) No vintage watch dealer worth his salt would be doing this.
    2) I'm tired of the half assed sellers pushing junk to n00bs, who then come here and ask "I just bought this - did I do good?" and we have to tell the n00b they got fleeced.

Would you want to send a watch to a watchmaker who had to ask a forum to help him service it?

Just having a brief look through the watches on that site, and the dials... that's actually even more concerning.
