    Hi forum members,

I heard on the radio that tonight is Daylight Savings time and I was wondering if my Speedmaster will adjust automatically. If not, how do I compensate for DST? Do I just have to remember to add an hour when I check the time until DST ends?

Hopefully I don't need an expensive service. Eek!

    Thanks for your help!

Saw a post on another forum recently where someone could not figure out why their watch was 2 days behind while on the winder...

Very surprising since it seemed to be keeping time within a few seconds, but the date read the 5th when it was the 7th. ::facepalm2::

Similar to posts where people think the watch is faulty because the date changes at noon...

Or the guy who was disappointed with his automatic wrist watch when he found that it only ran for a few minutes when he picked it up and shook it a bit. He said it used to run for 48 hours when he did that! He was unable to understand that I was unable to help him, other than to advise him to put a strap or bracelet on it, and WEAR it!

Perhaps next year Day Light Savings Day will fall on April 1st. Joel won't seem extra foolish.

I think that is an Apple MacIntosh? Or could it be a Granny Smith, Gala, Delicious, Russet, Newton, Gravenstein, Fuji, or some other type? Gotta be a MacIntosh!

That should be fine as long as it doesn't have too many complications, otherwise you will have to wait until 3 am.

We'll see. I've been using that strategy for my bedside clock. I'll report back tomorrow if it indeed self corrects.
