Now you just need a pair of -63s and -64s! 😁

Just a -63, please. One will do. It could even be a 105.012! 😉

Btw, miracle of miracles, both watches have made it thru US Customs, apparently without a hitch. That’ll be the first time in a long time that an overseas watch hasn’t required days of back and forth to wheedle it out of Customs.

One watch from Turkey and the other from the UK and they may both arrive together on Monday!

According to the original listing, the watch from the Turkish seller was supposedly located in South Carolina. Was that wrong?

Yeah. That bit of dishonesty pissed me off. I bid assuming it was in South Carolina and the seller ‘is based in the United States’ despite the seller’s eBay name. Had I known it was really coming from Istanbul, I would have hesitated and made further inquiry.

But I’m guessing all will be well. The seller replied promptly, shipped quickly and managed the paperwork so that the package has cleared Customs. And the seller has been quite an active eBay watch seller around the world with very little negative feedback.

I've seen many high value items from that seller over the years, so I would have been ok with it, but it's funny that the watch was listed that way.

Any plausible reason why he did as so? Avoid local tax?

Maybe just to make some buyers more comfortable. That would be my guess.
