My dad gave me his old Seamaster circa 1970, and I sent it off to be restored/repaired. Let me know what you think.

What was done? Looks great. Was it just crystal repair or replacement? Anything else?

 

Why do I have the feeling I have recently seen this watch in an eBay listing?

 

He serviced the movement, replaced pushers, replaced crystal and some other things I know nothing about. It arrives tomorrow, can't wait.

Perhaps more info on what you did in the service and more pics?

 

Boy, I had a heart attack when I saw the first pic and read it was sent out for servicing. Visions of a bad dial refinish or an Omega replacement of 95% of the parts swirled through my head. Thank Dog it looks like the exterior work was mainly just a crystal replacement, as the dial looks fantastic.
