    To the snob who poo-poo'd my rather -- characterful -- watch:) and to those who may not have much of an idea about Omega models, I thought I'd give you an update. The renovation is moving along nicely. A jeweller has done the gold work (photo attached) and I have located an original crystal in perfect condition that will replace the crazed one I have. I have decided to not re-do the dual (thank you for your advice on that), which leaves the rather expensive servicing. As for the age, I was chatting to a seller at a market in Melbourne recently. He has four square Omega watches. If he is correct he put the introduction of curves and the high domed crystal of mine at about 1930. Kind regards.
