    Dear Sirs

I hope some of you experts can help me with this watch. I usually collect vintage Omegas, but almost 30 years ago, in New Deli, India, I found this watch. It had a water damage, and I got it restored at a local watchmakerschool her in Oslo, Norway. Dial was also restored, I'm not sure about the hands, movement (cal 287) still shows signs of the waterdamage - clearly not all parts were exchanged.

The shape of the case, pushers and lugs should indicate 1960's, but I cannot find referencenumbers or serialnumbers in/on my watch.

It has case diameter of 37,6 mm.

Does anyone of you know this model?

Thanks in advance, I would really appreciate your respons.

    Kind regards

    Dag, Oslo, Norway

Never saw that case before. I suggest a Franken watch. The only thing that looks like UG is the movement...

The dial is redone as you said, I'm not so categorical about the rest... who would fake a UG 30 years ago ?

    Dear friends - case closed!

Thanks a lot for your responses. It was important for me to get your opinions of my watch. I was quite young when I bought this watch in a antiqueshop in New Deli, India. All these years I thouhgt the watch was original (not the dial -of course, as I had this repainted myself). Even the buckle had Universallogo and 18ct stamps.

Well - I have learned a lot about vintage Universals the last week!

    Thanks again

    Regards

    Dag, Oslo, Norway
