·Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

This was an incredible find for me from a retired doctor. His parents gave him watches as gifts for graduation. One for graduating high school, one for college, and last for med school. He wore the first and saved the other two without wearing them.
The watch is in pristine condition for being 44 years old. The red wax is still sealed on caseback, so the watch has never been opened and I do not plan on doing so to find out the exact serial number. I am basing the age of the watch on the year stamp on clasp of original 1039 bracelet, which is 3.71 and the fact that this watch has early 70's step dial with MoonWatch caseback.
It has never been polished, the case is sharp, crystal is perfect, dial and hands are perfect, the bezel is flawless. The bracelet is in best condition that I have ever owned or seen a 1039. Appears never have been sized, polished, no scratches on clasp, no wear on end-links. The clasp still feels tight while opening it and none of the links are stretched out or dented.
It comes as a complete set (minus the price hang tag) with mint inner and outer boxes, warranty booklet (never filled out), manuals, and Omega Chronographs booklet. All the booklets are also in mint condition.
The watch runs, pushers are crisp, chrono runs and resets. Obviously, it has never been serviced before.
Everything being said, the watch has been handled before and you can find fine scratches here and there and bracelet has been taken on and off in past as you can see fine scratches on underside of lugs.
In my eyes, this is a grail birthyear set for someone and just an amazing piece to add to your collection.
