Hi All, I find this watch Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Networkvery attractive: gilded dial, hands, case, etc. Dial looks good to me despite a few scratches. Interesting that seconds aren't printed between 10 and 20. Movement has a lot of discoloration and jewels seem dry but doesn't look damaged beyond that. Movement serial dates it to early 1940's. Caseback shows a number but I wonder if this is a serial rather than a model number. Seeking comments authenticity and condition on this watch.
I have monitored this watch for quite a while... It has been on offer for at least half a year now... when listed the first time at no reserve it was sold with a shill bid and then relisted shortly after this for 4 times the price... Unfortunately the dial has lost quite a bit of it´s seconds track through a cleaning attempt (I assume)... so the most important part of the watch is badly damaged.
