Up for sale is a very nice stainless steel 2852 Constellation with the highly desirable pie pan dial with arrowhead markers. The case is unpolished and extremely sharp. The dial has bubbling throughout but it is is much less harsh in person than many of the photos imply (see video). The strap/buckle are original to the watch. The box is period correct but not original to the watch. More details are below, and let me know if you have any questions. Dial: Original silver pie pan dial has bubbling and very fine cracking throughout. The yellow gold arrowhead markers are very nice - they have no discoloration and really stand out on the dial. Yellow gold hands are very nice as well. See the above video for the dial at different angles. Case: Original 2852-6 case is extremely nice and unpolished, without a doubt the sharpest Constellation I have ever held. The medallion is very sharp as well - it’s developed a slight patina from age. Constellation and Waterproof text on the back is very clearly visible. The only blemishes on the case are from being improperly opened - most visible near the top-right lug when facing the back. Retains the original decagonal crown. Crystal: Original signed crystal with Omega logo at center, in very nice condition. Movement: Original 505 caliber movement, dating to 1956, is very clean. Movement runs, winds, and sets well. Service history is unknown. Strap/buckle: Strap has seen better days - it has a crack in it and has become a bit deformed over the years where it attaches to the watch. Original buckle is nice. Box: Watch comes with a period correct Constellation box with the original pad but no insert. The box is not original to the watch. The inside of the box is quite nice but with some light staining on the inside bottom. The outside is relatively scratch free but there’s a circle visible on the top where someone set something round on top of it at some point. The pad is very nice. Price is $1,500 USD via bank transfer, Paypal add 3%. Watch is in Seattle, WA, USA, and I’ll cover shipping (US and international). Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Really nice presentation of an equally nice watch. This type of case, when unpolished and well-preserved, is especially appealing. GLWTS!
