Forgive me if there is already one, but can anyone point me to a Rolex image gallery that shows unpolished cases for as many references as possible? I feel this would be super helpful to those of us trying to find unpolished watches, or as close to unpolished as possible to compare with what we're trying to buy. If there is nothing like this, I'm happy for this to be the start. Post your unpolished case references so we can all save this thread.
Thanks for pointing to the thread. That's great for all cosmetic enhancement information. For this thread (or perhaps one that's already out there), I was hoping to just have images posted of unpolished cases, from any and all angles, for any and all Rolex references.
Hi, Very good topic. I'm just wondering since a few days if the fact that we see springbars on lugs hole means the case is overpolished (picture below) ? Thanx !
Not necessarily I have a polished DRSD that if I put short springbars in looks ok, the correct one's are almost flush with the case. Pic 1 has correct springbars. Pic 2 short.
take a look at the above unpolished case examples. those drilled lug holes do get affected when there has been a heavy polishing. i too recently purchased an older datejust so am curious as well to how an unpolished datejust looks but have handled and owned several unpolished examples sub, tudor sub and my gmt in the profile were all listed as unpolished.
Wow, that looks horrible You should delete it in this thread or people will start to believe that's how an unpolished should look
