Unpolished case (105.012)?

Hi OF,
I just would like to have your quick opinion on this 105.012-64 case (source ch24).
My question is mainly about the "banana shape" of the sides.
The lines (red arrow) are Ok for me; but what about the transition line brushed/polished on the sides?
(seem not symetrical to me, left/right side; but is it normal production variation in the 60's?)
