I have a vintage Omega Geneve dating from around 1962.It is a lovely looking piece which keeps good time only what makes it unusual is that the words Geneve are not written on the face.Has anyone seen this before?Could they possibly have worn off during a clean or were some models manufactured this way? Worse altogether, could I have a fake?
Your watch probably isn't a fake, though it could be a redial. There were numerous varieties made, so unless some of the members turn on their psychic powers, you won't get a decent answer until you post a picture
Welcome to the forum! If you post a photo, I am sure you will get plenty of expert feedback about your watch. On another note, full points for your choice of user name, which calls to mind the smoothest uni-browed R&B crooner of the 1990s. Surely this should be your avatar?
As all the other members tried to tell you: If you don't post any pictures of your watch we can't help you...
To us, from the posted pictures, it also looks like tuna fish on whole wheat or perhaps a Volkswagen type three fastback.. what do you think Norm?
WTF, NO it looks like nothing, because that is what you've given us to look at. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to request that no members reply further to this thread until we see full pictures.
@Albsure lots of Omegas were produced without model name on the dial (and many went unnamed) and yours looks perfectly fine - enjoy!
