Hi All,
Apologies if this the wrong forum but my friend has asked me if I would help him identify this watch and I thought this would be the best place for advice.
Could anyone identify the watch and give him a rough idea of value please?
He doesn't intend to sell it as apparently it was his grandads.
Thanks.
Barry.
p.s I still have my Omega and Tudor. Cheers.

A pretty common Chronograph from the late 40s/50s usually with Landeron movement.
The 18k gold cases mostly have hollow lugs, the case body is usually thin 18k too.
Some are yellow gold others are rose gold.
If you remove the outer back these have a inner metal cover too.
I have seen these sell for £450-£1500 depending on condition, but since it is a family piece it is worth much more than just its monetary value of course.
Hope that helps.

Cheers, Michael
