image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Dial is genuine, case style looks like late 40s early 50s (serial 1.4 to 1.5mil?). I do think that we have seen that dial before many times in this forum and it is from later 50s so dial although genuine is probably not original to the watch (see the applied logo too).

Edit: would be a good chance to get some opinions on when those applied shield logo started to be used too. If anyone has an idea, would truly appreciate the sharing. Looking up sala, the oldest with such logo is on page 203 stating it is from 1946, but I think there is something wrong with that watch. The next comes page 205 which is from 1952 and is applied U not a shield. While on page 208 there is another sample fem 1957 with a shield. Pics included.
Edit 2nd: on medico compax and compax archive, the shield logos are shown in 1956, and 1957 samples. Although very limited evidence I would think that the shield UG logo only appears in the latter half of 1950s.

It is a cool watch. As mentioned, dial is a later dial (perhaps late 50's) while case is early 50's. equally nice and desirable ...
