help! have a 18k gold base and band men's Universal Geneve watch. serial number 10926793587, purchased 1977. I cant find any info and cant seem to get a value either. should i sell for gold only, or could it possibly be worth more as a watch?? was in drawer for 20 years but still works!

It's not a sought-after model, and it looks as if the dial has been refinished somewhere along the way. I don't say this often, but I think that is worth no more than melt value plus a couple of bucks for the movement from someone who needs the parts.
