    Hi everyone,

Would you have a chance to let me know how much this piece would cost in market? Someone asked a trade for my speedmaster moonphase and i have no idea about this piece.

    Thanks.

Have no idea about value but judging from the state of that box it looks like it was privy to a murder of one or several people. Only God knows what that watch might have seen.

This watch was a wedding gift from the parents of the bride. There is a tradational thing, they put something in your hand which is made of some kind of mixed plants. It's a common culture in some countries like india as well. So, it touched the box. That's the reason of the mess.

I feel pretty sad for the watch as well. That is UG well into its twilight, not its former glory. I would get depressed every time I looked at it. But that's just me. No idea on value, not much I would suspect. What speedy moonphase are we talking about in this trade?

I know virtually nothing about such recent watches, but, off the top of my head, I'd make the trade only if the other guys throws in $7k and a heartfelt apology.

I was going to say a few hundred, but then I assume the UG has probably never been serviced, so if you deduct the price of a service, it must be what, approaching zero? Again, I know nothing about late model UG, perhaps this is a fabulous and sought after piece, but I've never seen it before, so I seriously doubt it.

The UG worth around 1k in a good day, 500 in a bad day and somewhere between in a regular day.

BTW, the shown papers don't belong to that watch

Yeah, the other guy is definitely getting the better end of the deal. Offer to buy the watch and don't trade yours.

IMO the watch's value is all about wether you like it and how much you feel its worth. As a collectable the value is not much.
Personally I wouldn't consider it to have any value toward the piece you want to sell. Whatever the UG is worth will be lost when it needs to be serviced.

The watch doesn't have an inhouse movement. It's a ETA 7751 and signed UG. Not sure if the gold is plated or solid, but maybe $1500 for the value

Movement stilled used today by many manufactures and a number under different brands on Ebay

Do not trade your watch. Has a much higher value

This watch doesn't mean anything to me anymore. Thanks for infos. I really don't understand how my speedmaster is not able to be sold yet with it's great price (imo) which is $5.000.
