Something a little out of the ordinary here, for me anyway, is this mid 1960´s vintage UG Unisonic Chronometer, in dare I say it, fantastic NOS condition! To be honest I don´t know very much about these as it is not really from my collecting field, the reason I bought it in the first place was the amazing shape it is in, coupled with the very attractive, and three colour, sunburst dial. Just stunning on the wrist! The dial is what really catches the eye, being a silver starburst with two concentric rings, one in dark blue and the other in a dusty pink. Applied steel indices with tritium, quick-set day/date.and super smooth sweep seconds hand finish the look. The screwback steel case retains its perfect brushed, sunburst and polished finish and has the original signed crown and serial numbers on the inside and outside of the case back. The steel Universal bracelet is a real nice piece of engineering and it is full length and with a clasp that remains still slightly stiff from lack of use! The Universal Geneve chronometer calibre 1-53 is based on the Accutron 218, running extremely well and only out a few seconds per week. No service history whilst in the 12 months of my ownership. €795 net to me will include worldwide Track and Trace shipping. Bank transfer preferred, Paypal for established forum members only. Any questions, just ask!
Thanks for the positive comments guys! The only reason it's going is due to a few too many in comings over the last couple of weeks Ive had a couple of questions about the bracelet length, which I'll measure later on and post it here.
So many tempting watches these past couple of days... this one would complement my spaceview so nicely! GLWS!
What I love about this watch is the level of finishing on the bridge. You don't see that on many tuning fork movements! GLWS!
