I have a nice Universal Geneve Unicompax cal 287 in stainless steel case, dating to the 1950s.

UG cal 287 was serviced 2 years ago. Start / stop /reset without issues.

The dial is an older-redial, but a very high quality one. no age spotting visible to naked eyes although under flash and macro lens, can detect faint age spotting . Signed on dial and case cover.

Happy to ship locally or internationally. Buyer will be responsible for all tax and duties if shipped internationally.

Asking USD$1800, or AUD $1950.

References available.

It appears that the entire handset has been replaced with Non-Universal parts, as well as the redial which you disclose.

It would be helpful for your sale if you post pictures of the case back including the inside case back. This will contain the serial and reference numbers which can help to verify the other aspects of this watch, since the pictures that you have posted raise some concern.

If this is all new information to you, I'd encourage you to create a post in the Universal section of the forums where we can help you understand what you've got there.

A quick search came up with this photo to better illustrate how your watch may have began life. Please note that this is just an example, obviously the case material, case style and hour markers are very different. The reference number will allow us to be more specific.
