I've been looking for a nice triple date for a while fully aware that the ones with a moonphase are either rarer, more expensive, or simply too small (most are 32mm) for my tastes. My hunt has been off and on throughout this year, and I had almost stopped actively looking for one when I came across a unique example: A full size (34.5mm) 18k pink gold TDMP with spider lugs, gold dial, and lovely art deco numerals. Suffice it to say I took a punt on it and it arrived yesterday (special thanks to @bgrisso for his advice) From the listing: On the wrist, it wears bigger than the size suggests due to the lugs and the pink gold seems to have a warmth that yellow gold simply does not. It's not perfect - the day wheel is in Portuguese instead of English, and there is a tiny pin prick type dent on the dial above 6'o clock. But in the grand scheme of things, I believe these are small issues considering these watches are hard to find with clean original dials and especially in the full size. As a bonus, it also came with it's original brown box. The watch is keeping great time and all functions work as expected. I expect to sign off this year with this being my last acquisition. What can I say, sometimes one finds more than what one is looking for. Hope you also find something special to sign off 2018
congrats ! glad you are enjoying this one, and the original box is a very nice bonus. I wouldn't worry about the day disc......
That’s gorgeous. It’s annoying how the rose gold glow often never quite comes across properly in photographs. I bet in the metal that piece is even more stunning.
Nice piece. Congrats. I refrain from bidding as the watch was on US and seller did not ship it to here. Now I regret it...
Thank you all for your kind words. Feeling a bit fortunate to have landed this one. I had it on my wrist for the first time this weekend at the company party and spent half my time staring at the watch
