With apologies to those of you who might already have seen any of these on Instagram, I thought I’d share the scene one afternoon this past week when my buddy @MattF and I caught up in NYC. UG Magic. A “reunion” of sorts of six Universal Geneve Tri-Compax, in steel (2), yellow gold (3) and rose gold (1). Amazingly, the serial numbers of the two steel references (one his, one mine - both 22258) are less than 250 apart from each other. Siblings separated at birth more than 70 years ago! what is even more amazing is that they are all set correctly - month, moonphase, day, date, hour and minutes. That's not a trivial undertaking. I can barely manage a simple date sometimes.
I’m obsessive about properly setting mine prior to wearing ... its been so wet here I’ve not had the guts to bring any out of the safe. Miss them.
Raging OCD. Spent more time than I care to admit setting everything the evening before the GTG...but I gotta admit it looks good to see them all synced up! Thanks for noticing.
Yup. Feels like I’m cheating if I wear one without properly setting the calendar functions...OCD for sure.
