·Hi Everyone,
Similar to the 145-012 Speedy I just sold, I have two Tri Compax at the moment, and only one spot in the collection, so one has to go......
This is a 1950's Universal Geneve Tri Compax ref 22279/1. It was purchased directly from the original owners family.
The 35mm SS case is unpolished and razor sharp, with some scratches/dings as to be expected with normal use.
The dial is near perfect. The crystal is unsigned (I'm not sure if original). Everything else the watch is 100% original.
It had a full service 1 year ago, everything runs correctly.
1950s Tri Compax are less common, and rare in this condition. This is the best 22279/1 I have ever seen. It's even better in the metal than the pictures.
The watch is currently on a Kreisler SS bracelet, which is how the original owner was using it. It happened to fit my wrist perfectly, and I liked the look, so I have kept them together. Please note the bracelet will not fit above an approx 7" size wrist. But this will also look fantastic on a wide range of straps.
I am looking for trades, ideally a 1675, but also open to UG Clapton, Nina, and vintage A series Zenith to name a few. Shipping is your responsibility. I have plenty of references here and elsewhere. No returns.
Onto the fun part.....
