Universal Geneve post-1967 dating ?

Hi Everyone, Universal Geneve lovers,
this prestigious brand shows as available on-line serial numbers only up to 1967, up to serial number 2.550.000.
However UG has made after that still many lovely watches, most with serial number on the back.
I just acquired an other one that I am having hard time idenfiying the aproximate manufacturing date which is what I was able to do with other 5 UG' s I have, all pre 1967.
Anybody has access to UG resources with tables post 1967 ?
Here is my new purchase, serial number : 3.444.110
PS : I will have the watch opened (don' t know how to open this one) next week so with the cal number I may have some rough idea, in the mean time I just ask.

I can't help with serial but the movement should be a cal.42

I agree with you Universal Genève is war horse also
I think this serial number is from 72 to 75; If I remember well, the curious of this watch is the only model coming with Lemrich dial, anybody knows others from Universal with Lemrich dial?
But never find a table to know the correct year also...
A good brand with nice watches.

I also Like UG calibers, not to disagree, I had a white background, and another one of midnight blue.

Hi Roby,

I am sharing some pics of my UG similar to your with linen dial. From the serial numbers that I have I also don't know the date that was manufactured. Has caliber 42 (the pictures are before doing the service at the watch maker, hope it helps).David

I'm surprised I haven't already posted picture of my cal 42 with a linen dial. What I find curious is the fact that it shares the same case reference as one of the models above however the case is quite a bit different; even to the extent of having a linen bezel.
