Universal Genève Polerouter - micro-rotor

Since I have bought far too many watches lately, I need to let some go.

Therefore I’m putting this nice, original Universal Genève Polerouter Automatic - Ref. 869191/10 (1965–66) up for sale.

A classic Universal Genève Polerouter Automatic with micro-rotor movement, reference 869191/10, serial 2410041, dating to approximately 1965–1966.

The watch features a beautiful original silver sunburst dial with applied onyx baton hour markers, correct “T SWISS T” signature and matching tritium plots. The dial shows light, attractive vintage patina. The watch retains its original signed UG crown and a signed Universal Genève buckle.

The stainless steel case measures 34,5 mm (without crown) with 18 mm lug width and remains in honest vintage condition with well-defined lugs. Original acrylic crystal with cyclops over the date.

Inside is the renowned Universal Genève Microtor automatic movement - cal 69, one of the brand’s most celebrated thin automatic calibres.
