Looks good Seems a little polished (the back of the lugs look a bit rounded) and the loupe on crystal doesn't look to have the correct shape but, overall, is a nice example, imo
Yes, i thinks so but not a big problem in my opinion. According to the crystal, and considering that a correct one is made of unobtanium, i prefer a generic crystal without any loupe than a crystal with a loupe with incorrect shape.
The crystal looks absolutely fine to me. It's very slightly trapezoidal as I would expect. It doesn't quite line up with the date window in the first picture because I think the photo is taken from a slight angle rather than from directly above.
Looking at the example I own, I will say I agree with you @Mazoue . Good eye. The trapezoid crystal should be correct. I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. It is polished for sure. But hardly overpolished.
Just incase anyone was wondering.. this arrived in the mail earlier this week! Keeps almost perfect time with an the original signed UG crown and crystal. I love the texture and detail of the dial as it looks different under varied lighting conditions. Will have this on the wrist for the next few days as it will come with me on business travel. Looking forward to seeing it in another environment! Will share pictures when that happens. In the mean time... enjoy!:
