Universal Geneve Polerouter Date

Hello Everyone,

I would like to get your thoughts before I purchase this Universal Geneve Polerouter Date from 1965. Watch only and service history unknown, but it runs well. Gold capped case and I believe the crown has been replaced (not sure). Is it worth it to pay $1,400 canadian dollars? Thank you so much.

Its not a 1400 watch. More like a 900 watch. Service crystal and non UG crown. Bit on the polished side of things. Its attractive though and If you like it see what you can do with the number. These are temperamental movements so get a shot of the movementand inside case back.
