Serial 1683159 (Circa 1954)
I am selling this with an original Polarouter box. Whilst the box is not in perfect condition, this is an extremely rare survivor indeed and these boxes are very rarely offered for sale. These boxes are thought to have accompanied the original SAS Polarouter watches.
Dial: Gold coloured dial with black crosshair and text. Applied logo. Original lume plots. Dauphine hands with original lume.
Case: 35.5mm. Gold capped. ‘HF’ stamped Huguenin Freres stainless steel case back. Bombe lugs. 19mm lug width. 6-key caseback, characteristic of a Polarouter. Logo and case reference and serial numbers clearly engraved to case back. The crown is signed but later.
Movement: Universal Geneve self-winding Cal 138SS ‘bumper’ movement.
Price: £2,000 GBP including insured shipping worldwide for OF members. Payment via bank transfer or PayPal for members with acceptable references. Returns not accepted unless grossly misrepresented.
