I am now bracing for another major incoming so here goes one of my favourite time only watch! For sale is my Universal Geneve Monodatic circa 1952.

Dial: 100% original dial, waffle dial, applied numeral and coffin markers, step subdial, and applied UG logo as well as the Universal writing.
Case: Gold plated, cornes de vache lugs, unpolished case.
Movement: Cal 138c, recently serviced by my watchmaker.

The watch measures 34mm excluding crown, 18mm lugs width and wears very nicely on the wrist due to its long lugs. It is much better in real life and has character as you would expect of a 1950s watch. All functions work as it should including the quickset date.

This particular dial configuration is extremely rare to be found on Monodatic, and the whole dial configuration combined with the roulette date wheel and the horn lugs makes this a very exceptional dress watch.

The watch is sold as is with the gold tone milanese bracelet included, the bracelet is a high quality milanese bracelet made in Germany. No box or papers. Priced at USD1,400 + shipping. Paypal or bank wire only.
