Someone asked about the radium on the minute hand that has been stabilized and reinforced, the reason this was done is because there was a chunk of radium that fell from the hand.
That chunk of radium was put back to the minute hand by my watchmaker somehow, and the lume is still the original radium as I've described, not a relume. I will provide a photo of the dial under a UV light later today.
For some reason, a lot of these Medico watches with this particular radium dial, has a lot of missing lume from the sword hands. I'm not sure if it happened due to the way it was worn back in the days by the previous owners, whom I assume would be doctors.
But apart from the 2 Christies examples above, that has a relumed minute hand on the gold one, and relume hands on the steel one, I've seen a lot of them to have a similar issue on the lume.
