Given the fact that Omega DON are 3-6k USD I’m guessing that and more.

Rarer watch but narrower market. I'd say take the Speedy bezel as a mud point but depending on timing you may get more or less in an open auction.

It would like sell for slightly more, but may take longer to sell.

Rumor has it that Universal is about to start producing these again - not Ninas, just the bezel. Not kidding. Apparently there is still someone working at Universal. (Could be the same person turning out the archive extracts)

I would think at least he puts his enterprising skills to good use.

That would be awesome news, although it sounds like I shouldn't hold out too much hope. I know of several people including myself that are searching for a Nina bezel with understandably very little luck. I have a speedmaster reduced bezel that I am trying to make work currently. @Juan great bezel, good luck with the sale!

Please let us know how the Speedmaster reduced turns out. I had the same thought based on the similar size of the cases and similar look of the bezels

Hi @Juan. Could you help me out, all of your posts seem to be asking about the value of pretty rare NOS bezels and bracelets. Are you a dealer? Collector? Welcome to the forum btw, I’m new too and also just getting the hang of the place.

Um ... if you are looking and @Juan is selling......”Good luck with the sale”? I’d be more like “pm sent”.

I picked a cheap speedmaster reduced bezel to try to make work. Inner and outer diameter of the bezels are quite similar, just the diameter of the press fit is a little smaller on the bezel so I am trying to get some time on a lathe to turn that dimension out to fit the compax.
I am aware that I have a lot of parts to source to make this close to presentable, but for the time being it is as close as I can get to a Nina and it’s pretty fun trying to make it work. I have a chrono sweep hand and maybe a bezel soon. Not trying to fool anyone about it either, just really like these early Ninas and wanted one to wear.
Here is a picture of the bezel sitting on top, not yet pressed on. I’ll update on the fit when I do it.

Seems to me a brazen attempt to circumvent the stringent for sale rules of this esteemed forum

Thanks! As suspected, close but needs some machining.

Regarding the watch itself, assuming you have the cal 85 movement you are not too far off!!!

Good luck with the project, let me know if I can help in any way
