·I am (reluctantly) offering this stunning UG Compur 30 that @Dre was kind enough to sell me earlier this year. (It's a beautiful watch, but I have three Compurs and need to consolidate).
This is a mid-late 1930s Compur 30, with matching dust cover, Henri Jeanneret case, signed fab suisse on the dial. These don't come up for sale often, especially in this condition.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves, with two minor points. (I don't want any surprises for the buyer, and believe in "over" disclosure of any an all issues). 1) when viewing the dial straight on, it is very clean. When you catch the light perfectly you can see there is some variation (speckling) in gloss levels around the perimeter (see final photo, taken to try and highlight this issue as strongly as possible). Again this is not visible under normal viewing, except if you catch the light in a very particular way. 2) lower chrono reset button does not fully pop back out, but stays very slightly depressed. All functions are perfect. I would not bother with this personally, but I'm sure its possible to adjust the pusher spring.
Service history unknown but watch running strong and all functions correct.
Cost is $6K net to me, which includes free shipping CONUS. Paypal or bank wire. Please note this sale is for the head only.
This is my first sale add here on OF, so I don't have seller feedback yet, however I can provide buyer feedback on OF. Additionally I have sold a lot on ebay under my profile bag74 (450+ feedback at 100%).
