This is a great watch in very nice and overall original condition, but yes, assigned to the Luftwaffe by the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM) for aerial navigation.
Could you clarify what you mean by this?

This is a nice UG with a Spillman waterproof case (a lot of famous brand used this case).

The dial seems relumed, ad the hours and minute hands. However all hands are original.

The crown might be a replacement ...

This black dial is quite nice and looks OK to me

That's all I can say about it

I mean, is it possible to find out the owner (pilot) of these watches or identify the Luftwaffe group by the special number of these watches?

difficult. Most luftwaffe records pertaining to WWII are gone. It is a bit like working your way through a maze and picking up clues as you go along. Any chance of tracing provenance via seller?

history is the following: the famous Soviet ACE Pokryshkin together with led Golubev landed on the ground almost untouched German fighter Focke-Wulf 190.these watches Pokryshkin presented to his engineer.so the watches are safed up to nowadays. they have been laying for more than 30 years lay in a box of rubbish.I'm surprised they were not thrown into the trash)) but how these watches came from naval aviation to Jagdeschwader, it is not known))

Nothing about naval aviation in Knirim, just Luftwaffe. Also no record of issue to my knowledge, so not possible to link them with individuals or units. This watch is legit, and original but for the relume in the hands.

The background is not so big. soon I will get a radiation meter and write the exact background.
    it is champion-
LACO-Durowe Beobachtungsuhr FL 23883, 8000-10000 MD (the device off scale, it is difficult to measure precisely).
    Some of the radioactive watches!

Side note to this somewhat old thread. It's hard to document RLM numbers and case serial on these, as they are quite rare and owners are often not sharing this information. From the limited sample size that I am finding so far (5 examples), the RLM appear to be clustered within a fairly tight case serial between 804839 and 805020.
However, it appears there are also non RLM Compur 30 scattered in this same range, so I don't think we can establish a definitive link between RLM and case serial.
I am recording this here just for documentation.
