H, m, and second may be correct. I have seen h and m in steel with a red second too. Bezel should be the darker blue and register hands should be white. Bracelet is a joke. Easy to see that it is wrong! Case back is a kojak or turned .... I don't really know why anyone would ever want to do that as there are only two possible reasons and both are dodgy. I get the felling that this watch is put together which would not be an issue if it was done conscientiously ...

All in all, a very sloppy attempt. $22k ? I would expect a lot more ...

That's why....I haunt you guys when I see something - BEFORE - I buy it. I've missed things waiting for answers but better to be safe and vet it here.

 

These two prominent dealers can’t claim “we get so many watches we can’t Vet every one” excuse when they are asking the prices they charge. I would expect better of both. Can’t trust anyone.

 

So, if it is a put-together, where are the parts from? Are they fakes/services items/from a different reference?

 

most likely it was serviced over the years by various watchmakers who used the parts they thought were close enough. It was until the last 5+ years that anal collectors came along and started looking at these details and asking questions. 15 years ago, nobody cared about these details...especially on this reference.

 

I just wondered, since it is easy to see that there are differences, but the differences are minute and (as far as I can see!) are items that are uniquely UG.

 

when they were cheap as chips no one cared. At $20k plus it’s a different game altogether.

 

its easy today with all the info we have...10 years ago it was impossible to know. Hell 3-5 years ago nobody cared about this.
