Hi All, Up for sale a very rare Universal Geneve Compax 30. Watch was discussed in the Universal Geneve Forum, due to the particularity of the upright numeral in the chrono hours counter, usually Universal Geneve configuration was radial numerals instead of upright. However there is a picture in SALA book, a worldwide reference and guide for UG collectors, that has a picture from a catalogue with this specific model, and the upright numerals, so confirming it's authenticity. Watch has 35mm, chromed case, signed in dial and inside.caseback. Dial is aged, but perfectly legit, but that is natural for a watch dated between 1938-1941 (serial number 717897). Reference is 7572, this specific model/watch is prior the UG reference system of 5 numbers. Movement is signed 386, and was serviced two years ago, by my watchmaker that is very experienced in vintage chronograph movements. I must inform all, that the chrono minutes hand, does not always reset properly to zero, due to wear in the specific part of the chrono system, this does not affect the watch normal time keeping, which is very accurate for a watch with around 80 years old. Watch will be sold with a black leather strap. I am based in European Union and will ship by registered air mail to anywhere, but customs taxes are not my responsability. I am considering offers around 1300€ for this lovely piece. Thanks for your consideration, and to OF for the space
