I acquired a set of Universal Geneve case back openers sometime last year and had forgotten about them since none fit the watches I owned. After posting some pictures on IG and getting some questions last week, I decided to have a second look and try to figure out which case backs they could potentially open. It's funny because I remember looking at the numbers on the handle and not being able to figure it out but other night it all came together. So here are a few pictures I put together of the ones I own and I'll continue to add as time comes my way. 885104 Compax Mark II 204615 Polerouter Sub 22705 Compax 22703 44mm Compax 219301 Polerouter Electric Steel 119301 Polerouter Electric Gold These are the references I used to figure it out. https://omegaforums.net/threads/universal-geneve-space-compax-ref-885104-02.10642/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/menta-polerouter-sub.47787/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/her...neve-compax-22705-1-valjoux-72-cal-130.66718/ https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/bring-a-loupe-october-9-2015 https://universalgenevepolerouter.com/referencegallery/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/universal-gèneve-–-polerouter-electric-1963-caliber-60–-new-condition-–-once-in-a-lifetime-chance.9741/ Edited on Feb. 16th to correct a few mistakes.
I was able to identify a few more case back openers. 867101 White Shadow 852103 Unisonic Sub 10369/104602 18k Polerouter Jet Interestingly the 22705 from above that can open the 60s Compax has a sticker on the back 853102 handwritten on it. That number is a Unisonic reference. I’ll add this as a reference for now. Found that the case back key with ref. 411501 fits the FS railroad watch.
