Simply awesome - UG chronometers are as rare as Longines chronometers. Interesting to note the original dial with discontinuous crosshairs, as well as the chronometer marked microrotor movement - can't say I've seen tha before, or the '4681.' Serial number?
Serial numbers were used on chronometer rated UG movements, although some rated movement exist without them. gatorcpa
Tread revival! Just got my hands on a Chronomètre 28 movement, dial and hands. I’m guessing the gold case was melted. I thought I would share my find as they are pretty impressive and still pretty rare. Last minute impulse buy as I believed it was a 215-9 caliber that would have been used for a Polerouter Jet project but this is better and actually a nice surprise.
