i know they’re scarce, but I would appreciate hearing from anybody who might have a vintage (1940s/50s) 16mm, 18k ROSE GOLD (not replated YG...) buckle that they might be willing to part with at a reasonable price. Thanks.

I saw your other post on this, def shooting for the moon with both solid AND rose gold !! I've never had a solid gold buckle, or rose (plated or solid). But with patience and luck most things are possible :)

Figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds an acorn, right? ;)
    Have a great weekend!

I think you are looking for a unicorn, not an acorn.

My brother-in-law has a late 1940’s Uni-Compax in 18K rose gold with original box, band and buckle. The buckle is rose gold plated.

Maybe some of the UG dress watches of that era had signed 18K buckles, but not chronographs.

Quite possible you are correct - I'm honestly not sure. I'm already working on rose gold plating a vintage YG buckle, but I'm an admitted OCD sufferer - and it never hurts to hunt for unicorns, right...? ::shy::
