Picked up Universal the other day knowing is has not been working.I didn't pay much for it but I would imagine a full service would be expensive and maybe more than the value of the watch. Any advice 20190701_150820.jpg 20190701_150604.jpg 20190701_150549.jpg 20190701_150538.jpg 20190701_150521.jpg

Beautiful watch, he deserves a good revision, and a steel bracelet, and then another 50 years to travel the world at your wrist.
    Cheers!

That’s easily worth the time, energy and expense of getting it serviced. Three-handers that don’t have Polerouter on the dial don’t go for an awful lot but I’m sure you’ll get your money back, even if you have to find a donor movement. On the plus side, if the herberts at Hodinkee happen to buy one, it’ll be worth £20k in no time.
