Hi guys, so last year I bought a "watch lot" on eBay with alot of broken and messed up watches, some work, some don´t and some are in so bad condition I can´t read what kind of watch it is.

I´ve found it quite amusing to buy these lots as some time there can be something interested in them and few months back I got a Universal model number 699.104, it is quite the watch but I don´t seem to be able to find anything about this watch online.

Is this a real or a fantasy watch or you know what this thing is ?
Can post pictures when I get home.

They are not rare and not in any way on the radar of UG collectors. In the past I've flirted with the idea of getting one (in stainless) but as I've been unwilling to spend more that €300/$300 it's never happened. I have since come to my senses and would only buy the Lemania-powered chronos from this era. If you can get one just don't spend too much as I can't see you getting much of a return if you decide to flip it.

It's definitely worth $80 to someone.

Late reply, but I've not been very active on forums lately in general.
I actually used to own this very watch.

Bought an NOS example at an Antiquorum auction for 900 USD about 4-5 years ago for cheap thrill because it was one of the lots that nobody was bidding on, and immediately regretted it. Never really wore it because it was too flashy and big, but I have to say that it is a pain in the ass to maintain (Valjoux 7751) and really difficult to sell given its flashy design.
