I won one of these on eBay the other day. On winning it I also purchased a new strap as I knew the one that was coming with it was a bit beat up. I'm having quite a bit of trouble getting my new strap to fit due to the design of the case. As you can see from the picture the spring bar is pretty much touching the case at 12 o'clock.

Do I need special spring bars for this case? I could always bend some to fit but I would only do this as a last resort. Anyone have any ideas?

What was the old strap like? Does that give you any clues?

Curved spring bars; they’re a thing. I get mine from Cousins in the UK and, for that watch, you need 18mm.

Cousins also sell a tool for bending spring bars, if you’re feeling brave.

Well you learn something everyday, curved spring bars. It seems Cousins sell every size apart from 18mm :(, I'll see what eBay has on offer. Thanks for the tip

I had one of these and it looked like the previous owner had just manually bent the bars a bit, it seemed to work OK..

You might also try Esslinger (US) or Perrin's (Canada).

Just a quick update. I got some curved spring bars from eBay and they have done the trick. If I ever need any more though I think I'll be making my own, no point paying someone else to bend some spring bars.
