    Hi all,

This seems to be a pretty unique Longines tank...but since I'm new to vintage watches I'm probably wrong ha. I haven't seen these types of hour markers before on a Longines. I was wondering what you think of it and if the battery leak in this watch makes it a no go to buy?

    Thanks!
    Anthony

Not sure if many "quartz experts" here, or at least not many who would answer to that moniker. Longines made so many great mechanical movements that the quart are largely forgettable. Regarding the watch above, if it runs and you like it and the price is acceptable to you, go for it. I personally am not a fan of quartz movements with seconds hands, but to each his or her own. There is not a collectors market for watches such as the one above, so should be reasonably inexpensive.
