Unique Speedmaster?

Firstly, apologies as I wasn’t able to get any photos, disappointing you all I’m sure!

I was briefly working alongside someone today and clocked that he wore a Speedmaster. It looked fairly standard until I caught a flash of the watchface - it had a thin red band running around the outside of the face of the dial (underneath the crystal).

Everything else looked standard; appeared to be steel on a steel bracelet, the rest of the dial was black with normal indices and hands, all very normal. I can’t seem to find any reference to this model anywhere, does anyone have a clue?

To be clear, the red was on the dial face and not around the bezel and WASNT the Tin Tin / racing watch either. I’ll add photos of that just to keep people happy…

Could be a racing dial or an Apollo 15 anniversary edition among others

Was it a Speedy pro, or a Speedy automatic? If it was possibly the latter there have been A TON of various models of that watch out there. My first inclination is that it may have been a Speedy Automatic Schumacher:
