Unique school watches article

Hi guys,

Some time ago I wrote a piece a bout a a school watch https://omegaforums.net/threads/unique-school-watch-with-valjoux-23.106014/#post-1543962. This was received with quite enthusiasm. So a couple of months ago I wrote a second even more in-depth article about another school piece. This is a very unique full set consisting of a pocket watch and a wristwatch made by a single student which were both tested as a chronometer of which the pocket watch as an observatory chronometer. What makes this really special is that this set has all the paperwork possible.

Let me state, so that I am not misleading, I am a watch dealer and these pieces are also for sale. The reason that I post this is that these pieces deserve a bigger audience. This article will shed a light on school watches and observatory chronometers. This is haute horology from a begone era. Another note. The name of the student has been made non visible on the main bridge of the pocket watch and paperwork due to privacy reasons.
