Thought maybe someone is interested. I recall that these were discussed here and are quite rare. As far as I remember someone brought up four movement numbers with orange tachy hand. This might be another one. According to the seller he enherited this watch, so might be original. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Omega-Speedm...er-ersten-Generation-/141826516221?nav=SEARCHPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
With a camera with autofocus on every phone nowadays, I'm surprised people still find it so hard to take decent photos, especially of something they want to sell for several thousand euros.
Isn't that what you call a Speedmaster "ultraman"? I now an other one for sale at an auctionsite And one was sold here at a very nice price .http://www.lauritz.com/sv/auktion/omega-speedmaster-ultraman-1967-armbandsur-herr/i3296318/
The pictures aren't that bad . I have seen worse . What seams to be the problem is the light that makes the crystal reflect the light coming from the outside.
I'm not fluent in swedish.... what did it sell for? 14.5k Swedish krones I guess? Or was that the estimate?
That is about 17500 skr or $2060 .But with missing and broken pushers . Probably in need of a good service . Their is one on Kaplans auction Sweden . Must higher price .
I will repeat my POV that since there is no hard evidence indicating Omega released this configuration, this could be an easy customization done by an independent watchmaker. Having said that, I have seen a number of discussion threads indicating the "ultraman" should be a 145.012 with a serial range of 26076XXX to 26079XXX.
There is a small range. I have papers with my ultraman so can help confirm if it is close enough in range
