Hi and good evening good folks. Spotted this thing on eBay and really liked it and ticked some boxes. 37 mm. But is it original as claimed? So hence again I seek out the wisdom here on OF.
I saw it too (now sold). From Romania. With a few unpleasant seller reviews. Whoever bought it took quite a leap of faith...
The mismatched 6s in the seconds subdial and rest of dial jumps out at me, but I have not studied or researched in detail....
The crown is not looking good. Did not notice the sweep. The case back seems to be a different shade of gold. maybe just the polish. Trying to learn, what to look for in professional redials. I agree with @bgrisso that the 6 stand out. But maybe they made them like this on certain models?
Aren't numbers missing in the ref. and serial ? The case back seems rose gold on yellow gold case, worn out pushers, hands, ... Many issues IMO, but the dial seems ok but the photo isn't clear enough to be 100% sure.
I was staring at this last night wondering if it is a mix of rose and yellow gold parts. Could be the light.
