Hi all Im sure a few have seen this which has popped up on Facebook advised her to join OF and seek advise speedmaster €8,500 Flemington, Victoria Hi There Just looking to get an idea of what my dads old watch is worth. It was taken to Omega in Melbourne AUS and they believe it's an original Ultraman. The details I have for it are below. The watch still works and has all original parts with the exception of the band. Original owner from new in 1968 (a period gift from father) Very sharp case, very little if any polishing history. Very good correct D.O.N bezel. Original correct crystal. Gorgeous patina. Working fully (but not recently serviced) Beautiful cal. 321 #25005066 Correct case back showing ST 145.012 67 SP , with service inscriptions Appears to be a genuine period "Ultraman" orange hand fitted. Appears to be a genuine period satin, black "Ultraman" dial fitted. Thanks advance for any information.

Unlikely... Sounds a bit embellished. They wouldn't suggest words like "Beautiful" and "Gorgeous patina." "Sharp case." I assume a collector/dealer has gotten her this far...
Actually I think your right probably one of the sales staff and im sure she will have quite a few messages on it especially as she put 8,500 euros on the post
I think this is the same ultraman which was for sale on gumtree in Australia around October 2017 and they were asking $10000 AUD. I had posted some pictures on OF back then looking for some advice on it. Couldn’t agree on price in the end.
