some months ago I got my new ST2 Ultraman. I have not worn it yet as I am waiting for a special occasion to wear it for the first time and because as much as I love the watch I think that the nato with the orange line is quite loud and steals the thunder of the dial and the leather strap that comes with it is not the quality that I would like.
So my question for your kind help...
Do you have any suggestions for a strap that would compliment it without being too loud?
(My ideas so far would be a solid black nato strap or a military green leather strap...)

Why not try the original orange striped strap? I think it complements the orange accents on the dial and is not too 'loud'. It's a sports watch, it's supposed to have a bit of flair. I'm not sure introducing a green color into the mix is the way to go but try it and see.

You could try a custom Rousseau strap in black with orange stitching, that looks good.

I have the blue one on my Seamaster and its perfect!

 

I find the original one a bit too loud....

 

You might also look at the Omega Black NATO with orange edges. It is a subtle look that would accent the dial yet not look as prominent as the stock strap with central orange stripe. But if you don't like any color on the strap than a solid black NATO is the way to go.

That would probably work better than the original one... a bit more discreet and the dial would pop up better

 

I have seen a military camo green on it on another forum so the colour combination (orange/military green) could work...
The original nato though is a tad too loud...
