Hello fellow members !

After a long search for the best watch case/box for my timepieces I think I finally found what I was looking for.
Found a company who does custom Peli cases (dustproof, waterproof, crushproof) for different purpose, after a quick chat on Instagram we agreed on a design and different customs options. Only few days later I got it in the mail and couldn't be happier with it.

Here are some pictures of it:

I have no share in that company or anything but since the service was really good I'm happy to share it here, you can find them here :

Feel free to share your ultimate watch case too !

I've been thinking about getting a Pelican case for storage.

Does anyone have any long-term concern about the composition of the foam having any ill effects on the watch face, hands or leather as it possibly breaks down over time in a sealed environment?

Make sure you make room for one of these

Custom Case Designs uses a different foam that doesn’t break down.

The Foam was a big problem for me with the standard puck and play (pre-cut little squares) of the normal Peli case, on all the pictures online you can find the foam falling apart. Here the foam is more dense and solid, it was directly cut with laser following the design I was looking for.

It is important to put some anti moisture bags as stated by @STANDY 👍

I have a Norpack case as well and I have no concern about the foam.

I am also getting a case from Norrpack, but the Maxcase Small https://norrpack.se/klockvaskor/klockvaska-maxcase.html

Thought about the comments made on anti moisture bags. Is that needed? Could I have issues with moisture in a sealed case like this? Where is the moisture coming from? Might be idiot questions but who cares when it comes to the safety of my little darlings 😀

For 30-years, I have used storage cases for my wrist watch collection as shown. These cases have foam inserts, but flocked metal sleeves for the watches. These cases were made by a firm called Carolina Case Co., which I suspect is defunct. I have had no problem with deteriorating foam, or residual effects on the watches stored therein. These are not bullet proof like the Pelican ones.
