I’m hoping for some practical advice on shipping a speedy from the UK to Taiwan. I’ve agreed a sale via the chrono24 escrow service and got a decent quote for door to door delivery. All seemed fine until I started googling customs requirements and now I’m getting nervous after stories of watches sitting in customs for weeks & weeks. I acknowledge that google probably the best source of information.

The Royal Mail site has a brief overview of requirements (include a CN23 form & sales invoice) but struggling to find a detailed guide.

Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

The shipping is easy enough, just fill in all the forms. What bites you in the arse is the insurance with every shipper I tried refusing to take anything over £5000.

Look to have found a solution with Mail Boxes Etc. They use the big couriers but provide cover for higher value items for 3% of decleared value. Certainly not cheap but worth it for the piece of mind in my view.
